S.A.F.E. / S.A.N.E. Nurse
This is a contract, on-call position that plays a critical role in providing trauma-informed care to survivors of sexual assault, conducting sexual assault forensic exams, and collaborating with local agencies. Will hire up to five new nurses.
Counselor
Under the direction of the Victims Center Program Director, the Counselor provides crisis intervention and counseling services to victims of sexual assault and other violent crimes. The counselor will provide counseling for child and adult victims of crime utilizing individual, family or group treatment formats.
Rural Prevention Educator
Under the direction of the Prevention and Education Director, the Rural Prevention Educator will implement outreach, training, and prevention programming (education seminars, outreach activities, training programs, preparation of informational materials, community mobilization, and social norms change) in the rural counties served by the Advocacy Center.
Rural Forensic Interviewer
The Rural Forensic Interviewer conduct interviews of child victims of sexual abuse and serious physical abuse brought to the CAC by police/sheriff or child protection investigators in three of the five rural counties served by the Advocacy Center – Freestone, Hill, and Limestone. Must be a resident of Freestone, Hill, Limestone, or adjacent counties.
Rural Family Advocate
Under the direction of the Children’s Advocacy Center Program Director, the Rural Family Advocate provides crisis intervention and case management services in three of the five rural counties the Advocacy Center serves – Freestone, Hill, and Limestone. The Rural Family Advocate will also serve as a liaison to these rural counties and with various systems and entities within. Must be a resident of Freestone, Hill, Limestone, or adjacent counties.
